This music video (also available at Vimeo) is my contribution to the collaboration between MĀ, ISAAX and Kino Sydney. It is constructed from over 9000 stills shot on location around Sydney using a Canon EOS 5D MKII. The fake tilt shift effect was added using Adobe After Effects. It was first shown at Kino#34.
When I decided to take on the challenge of making a music video for "Kino Loves MĀ", I downloaded the remix tracks from MĀ's website and the track by ISAAX made me instantly think of the tilt-shift and timelapse look. The footage was shot as a series of stills at roughly 4 frames per second and subsequently processed in Lightroom before being reconstituted in Premiere Pro. The fake tilt-shift effect was then applied in After Effects using custom lens blur with custom depth fields.
